Dark Hardwood Newel Base 1375mm x 90mm

The Dark Hardwood Newel Base 1375mm x 90mm is from our range of high quality dark hardwood (sapele) stair parts.

Newel bases are square pieces of timber, with a 50mm diameter hole on the top, which is designed to accept a pegged newel post.

Dark Hardwood stair parts are supplied unfinished. They can be left as is, for a natural finish, but we do recommend finishing them. They can be finished by either painting, varnishing or waxing for an enhanced look, that will also help to protect.

The length of the newel base determines the overall height of the newel post
