Dark Hardwood Provincial Newel Post (Square Design)

The Dark Hardwood (sapele) Provincial Newel Post (Square Design) is part of our great qualtiy range of dark hardwood stair parts.

The Provincial, is a square turned design.

A provincial newel post has a 50mm diameter peg, which will fit into a 90mm newel base. A 90mm newel cap is required for the top of the newel post.

A single head newel post can be used at the top and bottom of a flight of stairs.

Dark Hardwood stair parts are supplied unfinished. They can be left as is, for a natural finish, but we do recommend finishing them. They can be finished by either painting, varnishing or waxing for an enhanced look, that will also help to protect.

The length of the newel post, is a fixed length. The measurement of the post does not include the peg.
