Oak Newel Base 700mm x 82mm

The Oak Newel Base 700mm x 82mm is from our superb range of high quality white oak stair parts.

Newel bases are square pieces of timber, with a 50mm diameter hole on the top, which is designed to accept a pegged newel post.

Oak stair parts are supplied unfinished. They can be left as is, for a natural finish, but we do recommend finishing them. They can be finished by either painting, varnishing or waxing for an enhanced look, that will also help to protect.

The length of the newel base determines the overall height of the newel post
