This Hemlock barley twist winder newel post is part of the range of modern and traditional stair parts.
This 90mm hemlock barley twist winder newel post has a 50mm diameter peg, which fits into a 90mm newel base. A 90mm newel cap is required for the top of the newel post.
Winder newel posts are used on a kite winder staircase.
Hemlock stair parts are supplied unfinished. They can be left as is, for a natural finish, but we do recommend finishing them. They can be finished by either painting, varnishing or waxing for an enhanced look, that will also help to protect.
The length of the newel post, is a fixed length and this measurement does not include the peg.
