Cross Grain Timber Pellets
Cross grain timber pellets, also known as cross grain timber plugs or tapered timber pellets, are used typically to hide screws or bolt heads when fixing or assembling. They are tapered in shape and help provide a smooth finish for your final timber staircase or other wooden feature.
Cross grain pellets are placed into the hole where the screw or bolt head is located, leaving a small amount just above the wooden surface. This can then be trimmed or sanded to provide a real smooth finish, and then finished or stained the same as the rest of the wood, leaving them unnoticeable.
Our great range of cross grain pellets are available in a wide range of timbers, including pine, oak, ash, hemlock, dark hardwood and walnut. What’s more they can be purchased as single items, or in more cost effective multiple packs.
